The primary database supported is FoxPro compatible, but we also include a license for our Microsoft SQL version of the products. Each company has its own set of data files and each year creates its own set of files for each accounting module by fiscal year. Therefore, you have years of actual data files that can be accessed and maintained for decades with instant access by simply changing the accounting date. There’s no losing days of transactions because the single master database has become corrupted and you have to restore from a backup that is several days old.
The POWERSuite Enterprise includes our advanced Infinity POWER General Ledger module with its comprehensive “Financial Statement Report Writer.” Further, if you’ve never created a Chart of Accounts before, much less designed a custom Balance Sheet or Income Statement, they come along as a standard part of the initial configuration of the software! The Infinity POWER General Ledger also provides for powerful budgeting tools to export to Excel the actual and budget information, by company, and allows you to create all of your comprehensive budgets within Excel, as desired, (and keep up to 26 budgets simultaneously) and update the system instantly.
These are true multi-user accounting modules featuring double entry processes whereby users can’t just “delete transactions” and make things disappear! The system features an Advanced Security Administrator module that allows you to define specific Users and Groups with very precise rights on a “menu option by option” basis within each accounting module and company.
